Ongoing Research Projects
Current academic projects encompassing Computer Sciences, Biotechnology, and Artificial Intelligence.
Hardware acceleration of continuous cellular automata through parallel computing on GPUs
Continuous Cellular Automata (CCA) allow simulating complex systems using real-valued states. This project explores the design of a GPU-based parallel computing framework tailored to alleviate computational costs.
Identification of DLBCL using multimodal learning
Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma diagnosis can be fatal if delayed. This proposal integrates information from different data modality sources to emulate a robust comprehensive clinical diagnostic process.
Physical and Financial Informed Neural Networks for the Solution of PDEs
Using PINNs coupled with subdomain methods to solve PDEs. Proposes a temporal discretization-based approach applied to the Glioblastoma Proliferation-Invasion Model.
Alzheimer's characterisation based on AI predictions on intracellular axonal dynamics
Simulating the TASEP-LK model to study tau protein-affected axonal trafficking. Proposing AI models to reproduce the TASEP-LK behavior faster in biomedical settings.
Physics-informed neural networks for the solution of nonlinear PDEs
Utilizing Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs) to solve ordinary and partial differential equations by embedding physical laws into the training process. This methodology transforms constrained optimization problems into unconstrained ones to accurately approximate solutions.
Off-Lattice Parallel Algorithm for Tumor Immunosurveillance
An off-lattice parallel algorithm enabling cells to move in continuous space using OpenMP. It supports MultiParameter Sensitivity Analysis of tumor-immune dynamics natively.
Deep learning based classification of subcutaneous fungal diseases
AI-assisted visual diagnosis as a clinical tool for chromoblastomycosis, sporotrichosis, and mycetoma. Achieves robust test accuracy using deep convolutional models.
Scalable On-chain Storage Mechanism for DApps over Permissionless Blockchain
Developing storage mechanisms that ensure data immutability and resilience while maintaining high transaction rates and low latency.
Quantum Integer Wavelet Transform & Compression
Developing the first quantum approach for integer wavelet transforms focusing on Haar, CDF, and DB4 to minimize computational costs.
Multifractal Spectrum Based Classification for Breast Cancer
Exploring the fractal geometry of cells to identify breast cancer cells during histological evaluation. This project proposes a novel approach based on the multifractal spectrum to classify breast cancer from microscopic tissue images.
Video surveillance automated system
Developing an automated video-surveillance system capable of reporting recorded events in real-time. This project uses a Hidden Markov Model to recognize events and follows robust software design patterns for system architecture.
