Student's Meeting

The MCPR Postgraduate Students' Meeting (MCPR2020-PSM) has been designed for bringing together Master and PhD students in order to discuss their research with a panel of both students and senior researchers in the area of Pattern Recognition. MCPR2020-PSM will be held in Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico from June, 23th-27th, 2020

The main objectives of this Meeting are:

  • Provide feedback on participants' research and advices for future directions
  • Promote interaction with other researches
  • Promote a spirit of collaborative research and participation in conference events
  • Fees

    Authors of accepted papers for the Student's Meeting will have free registration. They will be able to attend all the conferences and tutorials of MCPR.

  • Student with accepted paper Free
  • Student without accepted paper $500 Mexican pesos
  • Fees includes entry to all the talks and tutorials of MCPR.


    Both Master and PhD students are invited to submit papers related (but not limited) to the following areas:

    All the 10 pages postgraduated students' meeting papers must include:

  • Research problem to solve
  • Research Methodology
  • Main contribution
  • Results achieved and their validity
  • Papers must be elaborated based on this Formatting Instructions

    You can find here the Author Guidelines document in order to know how the paper must be structured, how elements (headings, figures, references, etc.) must be located, etc.

    Papers must be sent (in PDF format) to:

    Accepted papers are expected to be published in Research in Computing Science (ISSN: 1870-4069) and will be presented in the conference as poster.

    Best Paper Award

    Based on the quality presentation and originality content, the best paper award will be conferred to the author of a paper presented in the conference.

    Review Process

    All the papers (PDF) will be submitted in English. All submissions will be rigorously reviewed (taking in to account technical content, originality, and relevance) by a designed Technical Committee.
