Título de la Disertación; "On the Design of a Fuzzy Relational Neural Network for Automatic Speech Recognition"
• Maestro en Ciencias de la Computación y Maestro en Ciencias en Gerencia de la Ingeniería por el Instituto Tecnológico de Florida (Florida Institute of Technology) en Melbourne, Florida, iniciado en Septiembre de 1982 y graduado en Junio de 1984 y Agosto de 1984 respectivamente.
• Ingeniero Industrial en Producción del Instituto Tecnológico de Aguascalientes, graduado en Julio de 1977.
• Actualmente es investigador titular "C" en Ciencias Computacionales en el Instituto Nacional de Astrofísica Optica y Electrónica (INAOE).

Technological Developments

• "Reconocimiento de Emociones a partir de voz basado en un Modelo Emocional Continuo", voice processing method based on the research work by MSc Humberto Perez Espinosa, Dr. Calos Alberto Reyes Garcia and Dr. Luis Villaseñor Pineda being used by the company PROINTBIS, SAPI de CV in its products for quality of call centers service analysis, particularly in two products, which are: Emotional calls classifier and Campaign quality evaluator.

Collaboration in Other Research Projects

• Collaborator in the project titled "Electrónica evolutiva: Síntesis automática de circuitos integrados analógicos" approved for financing by CONACyT, with number 48396-Y, during three years (2007-2009) and directed by Dr. Esteban Tlelo Cuautle from INAOE. My specific tasks in the project are to propose the application and to help with the implementation of genetic algorithms and hybrid intelligent systems to the selection of topologies, and dimensions and to polarize and optimize analogical integrated systems.
• Collaborator in the project titled "Web-based R&D Platform for Signal Analysis (WebSA)" whose first stage has been approved and is being financed by the DAAD in Germany. The leaders of the project are Prof. Dr.-Ing. Reinhard Langmann and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Hartmut Haehnel of the University of Applied Sciences Duesseldorf (FHD). My specific tasks in this first phase of the project are to play a consultancy role and support implementation of project measures for the development, operation and utilization of a virtual multimedia web-based communication platform for signal analysis (WebSA). A virtual presence is to be created in the internet for this, in which researchers from all over the world can work and exchange knowledge. And to create a new research and knowledge transfer structure according to models with this in the area of computer science, which will extend and improve the future research and training structure of INAOE on a sustainable basis. The project has been approved for two years (Jan 2008 to Dec 2009)
