Aim and Scope:
The special issue aims at pointing out the latest advances carried on into the field of Pattern Recognition and their Applications.

This special issue targets researchers from the MCPR community, who have contributed with papers to MCPR2016 conference and earlier conferences.

Important Dates:

Paper submission deadline: October 30, 2016
Revision/Acceptance/Rejection notification: March 13, 2017
Publication of the Special Issue: the first date available after June 15, 2017


Submission of Manuscripts:

Manuscripts must be submitted online via Editorial Manager (EM):

A fully web-based submission, peer-review, and tracking system.

Please prepare your manuscripts following the detailed instructions on "Submission Guidelines" at the International Journal of Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence Website:

To ensure that all manuscripts are correctly identified for inclusion into the special issue, it is important that authors select Special Issue: MCPR2016 when they reach the "Article Type" step in the submission process at the Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence Journal webpage.

All papers will be rigorously refereed and will undergo a standard review process of Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence Journal.



Submission Period :

Authors can submit their manuscripts to this special issue in the period :

September 1, 2016 - October 30, 2016.
