The 11th Mexican Conference on Pattern Recognition (MCPR-2019) will be held in Querétaro, Mexico from June 26 to June 29, 2019, under direction of the Computer Science Department of the National Institute for Astrophysics Optics and Electronics (INAOE) and the Research Center on Applied Science and Advanced Technology (CICATA) of the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) of Mexico; with the consent of the Mexican Association for Computer Vision, Neurocomputing and Robotics (MACVNR), which is affiliated to the IAPR. MCPR-2019 attempts to provide a forum for the exchange of scientific results, experiences, and new knowledge, as well as, promoting co-operation among research groups in Pattern Recognition and related areas in Mexico and around the world.
MCPR2019 organizers invite the Mexican community working on Pattern Recognition, as well as researchers working on related areas around the world, to submit original papers to the Virtual Special Issue entitled "Novel Data-Representation and Classification Techniques" in Pattern Recognition Letters journal. Notice that the manuscript submission period is just one month, October 1-31, 2019.
The virtual special issue will consider extended and updated versions of papers published at MCPR2019. However, please take into account that you should include both the original work and a description of the changes such that the new submission incorporates at least 30% new contribution of high relevance.
