The 3rd Mexican Conference on Pattern Recognition (MCPR2011) will be held in Cancun at the hotel Cancun Caribe Park Royal Grand on June 29-July 2, 2011, under direction of the Computer Science Department of the National Institute for Astrophysics Optics and Electronics (INAOE), and the Cancun Technological Institute, with the consent of the Mexican Association for Computer Vision, Neurocomputing and Robotics (MACVNR), which is affiliated to the IAPR. MCPR2011 attempts to provide a forum for the exchange of scientific results, experiences, and new knowledge, as well as, promoting co-operation among research groups in Pattern Recognition and related areas in Mexico and around the world.
