Intelligence (WI) is a new direction for scientific research and
development that explores the fundamental roles as well as practical
impacts of Artificial Intelligence and advanced Information Technology
on the next generation of Web-empowered products, systems, services,
and activities.
The Web intelligence Consortium (WIC) specializes in the development and promotion of new Web Intelligence related research as well as technologies through collaborations among world-wide Web Intelligence research centers and organizational members. The Web Intelligence Consortium Mexico Centre (WIC-Mx) is the Mexican division of the WIC international organization. This Centre, established in 2003, is dedicated to the promotion of worldwide scientific research and industrial development in the era of Web and agent intelligence. Currently, one of the main activities of the Web Intelligence Consortium Mexico Centre is the organization the "Atlantic Web Intelligence Conference - AWIC 2004" to be held in Cancun, Mexico. |
